Our Design Director, Alex Shaw, recently gave a lecture at Lightfair International (LFI) in San Diego, California, titled “Doing Lighting Design in the Middle East”. The 60 minute session focused on what makes Middle East such a peculiar region to do lighting design, what are the main challenges and opportunities, and how to succeed in a region that is rapidly shifting from a peripheral centre to a lighting design hub.

LFI is the world's largest annual architectural and commercial lighting trade show and conference. The 2016 edition received more than 27.000 visitors and held over 600 exhibitors. The conference offered 205 hours of education split into 82 courses, which were carefully curated by a committee of experts.
