Faysal Al-Haffar, Senior Lighting Designer and Project Manager in our Dubai studio, participated in a panel discussion at the Middle East Lighting Design Summit 2018. The panel, titled Architectural Lighting 2.0, discussed mainly the adoption of new ideas in the Middle East, the direction of the current lighting design market, the use of light as art, and the challenges of lighting modern architecture.

The 7^th edition of the summit was held on 2^nd and 3rd May 2018 in Dubai, and focused on the current trends, technologies and practices shaping the lighting design industry. The region’s leading platform for lighting design brought together lighting experts, designers, architects, and urban planners from across the GCC region. The program featured two days of inspiring standalone sessions and interactive panel discussions for everyone in the lighting and design community.
