The team at UMAYA Lighting Design is thrilled to announce the launch of our Helsinki lighting design studio. As our second location in Europe and eighth worldwide, the latest addition to the UMAYA network not only strengthens our presence across the region but complements our current team based in Barcelona.

UMAYA's new Helsinki office will be led by Wajih Smadi; Senior Lighting Designer with an array of completed projects across the hospitality, educational, commercial and residential sectors. Truth be told we're extremely enthusiastic about this new venture and look forward to bringing UMAYA's uniquely entrepreneurial take on cross-cultural lighting design to Scandinavian public authorities, real estate developers as well as the broader design community.
