Located at one of the main intersections on Sheikh Zayed Road, Al-Ameri Tower will soon become a reference element in the new Dubai area. Detached from all surrounding towers, it demanded a full 360 degree lighting analysis, that would enhance the architecture from all viewing angles.

The design intent was simple and straightforward; the building’s outer shell reveals a docked ship looking at the ocean. Slim turquoise lines outline the edges and visually tie the shell with the circular glazing, while matching dots delineate the prow and stern.

Special attention was paid to the parking lighting in the podium, to assure that the louvers were seen from the outside, avoiding the need for further external lighting elements.
