Downtown Jebel Ali Tower was our first project to be designed under LEED’s guidelines (Silver Certification), taking UMAYA Lighting Design to the next level in Green Building design. As a result, the Lighting Power Density in canopies and exterior areas was 10% bellow LEED’s maximum allowable values, and 50% below them on all facades.

This project also presents an innovative solution to screen the ventilation windows located at the podium (garage floors). Huge LED urban screens supported by a metallic profile mesh were proposed, creating an interactive mood changing facade area at street level. Theses screens will also be used for advertising purposes, allowing additional revenue to the client.
