ENOC Tower
LOCATION: DUBAI, UAE
USE: OFFICES & CORPORATE – HIGH RISE
SCOPE: INTERNAL & FAÇADE LIGHTING DESIGN
The façade lighting design for this LEED Gold compliant building is based on the overall verticality of the tower. Fully controllable linear lights concealed in the façade mullions create parallel lines of light. These rays fade out at both ends, stressing the slenderness of the building and keeping the energy consumption within permissible limits.
The internal lighting scheme focused on achieving the optimal lighting conditions for the diverse functions inside the building, while enhancing the interior design and reducing the energy consumption to a bare minimum. A comprehensive lighting control scheme was developed taking into consideration the daylight ingress and users’ behaviors, in order to minimize the impact on the running costs.
