Jumeirah Zabeel Saray Resort

LOCATION: DUBAI, UAE
USE: HOSPITALITY
SCOPE: INTERNAL, FAÇADE & LANDSCAPE LIGHTING DESIGN

The lighting study scope for this project encompassed the façade, landscape, guest rooms and main public spaces (such as the central atrium, corridors, and restaurants).

The design concept aimed at accentuating the dynamic ottoman architectural vocabulary of vaults, domes and columns, by providing light emphasis to the Turkish architectural details, and achieving harmony between inner and outer spaces.

In terms of the façade overall color configuration, warm white temperature was dominant in order to enhance the cozy impact of the hotel’s iconic appearance on the surrounding area.

The luminaries specification was based on studying the diverse functions of spaces, which helped to define the appropriate relevant ambience.
