A discrete and sober approach was followed in our proposal given the simple architecture of the newly refurbished Sheraton. The hotel’s prime location, next to the World Trade Centre and close to the sea, was our main source of inspiration.

Our lighting proposal was kept soft and elegant. By illuminating the roof’s frames with a simple indirect source along the edges we emphasized the architectural feature while rendering the building as a visual target. The recessed elevations on the façade were gently grazed; revealing the finishes and materials and providing the architecture with more depth.

A cool wash reveals the greenery at night, establishing a connection with nature and adding a lively touch to the façade in general.
