The internal lighting scheme for this upscale mall was developed around the natural light ingress throughout the day. Huge skylights above the atriums and main corridors not only provided an opportunity to reduce the energy costs associated with lighting, but also play with the shadows casted by the suspended decorative elements; creating a natural, dynamic and ever changing effect.

The lighting system is therefore responsive to the natural light conditions, dimming on and off the different areas of the mall, to balance the brightness and create a uniform atmosphere throughout the building.

The rationale for the façade lighting focused on highlighting the rigorous geometry of the building. A combination of technical and decorative lighting elements, as well as direct and diffused light was employed, to produce a comfortable and attractive visual result.
