Deloitte HQ
PROJECT: DELOITTE HQ
LOCATION: RIYADH, KSA
SCOPE: INTERIOR LIGHTING DESIGN
The lighting strategy for the Deloitte HQ in Riyadh centers on the seamless integration of architectural form and functional clarity. By prioritizing a clean, technical aesthetic, the design enhances the workspace’s fluid geometry while maintaining a professional atmosphere aligned with the firm’s global identity in the Kingdom. Throughout the open-plan areas, curved recessed channels and suspended linear fixtures trace primary circulation paths, emphasizing spatial volume and ensuring uniform illumination that guides movement.
In communal hubs and the café, the palette shifts toward a more textured, hospitality-driven approach. Decorative globe clusters and integrated greenery lighting create a relaxed ambiance, while strategic downlighting defines social zones for informal collaboration. Conversely, executive meeting rooms prioritize visual comfort through slim, oversized circular pendants that provide soft, diffused light, minimizing glare on digital displays and mirroring the room’s architectural curves.
From the arrival experience—defined by a sculptural reception desk with integrated linear grazing—to the high-focus work zones utilizing ergonomic task lighting, the scheme maintains a disciplined architectural candor. By avoiding unnecessary ornamentation and relying on precise optics and a cohesive color temperature, the design achieves an inviting, high-performance environment that remains technically grounded and sophisticated within its Riyadh context.
